"Believers," what would you do if, after you died, you found out that some other religion was the correct one? Or that, perhaps, no known religion had gotten it right? How would you feel if you found out you lived your life as a lie?

I'm not asking if you believe this will happen, I'm asking what you would do if it did.

Missy, you did not answer my question. You lose the internets.

I'd probably laugh a little. Then I'd let whatever happens, happen...supposing I couldn't change it anyway.

well, If no religion was right then I would have lost nothing, because I would not know anything. If the other religion was correct then I would live with my decision. That is all I could do.

IF I was wrong about my religion I would be ok with it. It is faith that has got by me through all my rough times in life. It has enabled me to be a better person to myself and others. I have no regrets on the life I have lived.

i guess u would have nothing to do more than asking forgiveness and asking god to send u back to change the bad things u've done but too bad it would be late bcuz nobody is comming back...so i guess u should do whatever it takes to make sure on ur religion and don't just follow ur family bcuz they r not taking ur fate after life so if they r wrong u would be just following something wrong

no life lived is a lie as long as it is not wasted on hate and greed. I base my life and beliefs on how I can make the world that I live in a better place for my children by teaching them that not everyone is perfect and by accepting that they can except others as they are and not how people try to make them.

I do not have to worry about that, just as another QUESTIONER was asking..."How can ATHIESTS believe in NOTHING...
he or she mentioned, that what is currently happening in the Middle East, is all written in the BIBLE, and they are correct, ISRAEL WILL BE THE VICTOR.
So I do not have to worry, WHAT IF I AM WRONG.

I guess I'd find out I was dead wrong - so what would my options be - as I believe there are only two and if they are wrong, I'd be unprepared - I guess I would have to accept whatever was placed before me and make a choice if one was to be made. I mean let's face it - I am dead and wrong.

OK, so assuming it did (not that I have to believe it, as you allow *smile*). If this happened, I'd do the same thing that I do now when I discover I'm wrong: Learn

well, there's not much you can do, you've already made your choice while you were on earth. I've often had the same question and you just have to have faith that your God is true. If He brings you peace while you're alive, then that's the best you can do!

Omg I've so thought the same thing before! Oh man that has got me thinking again. I really don't know what to say to that.
