www.behindthename.com = gives all the various Hebrew and Greek meaning to names or you can enter a meaning of a name you would like for your child and it will pull up appropriate names in the meantime, if you insist on Mahershalalhashbaz = have you chosen a nickname - like Hash or Hal or Hershal = because come Kindergarten, he's going to appreciate it if his name will all fit on one line!!

Hm. Interesting nickname possibilities.
I recommend this site: http://www.thinkbabynames.com/search/1/biblical
It has a list of biblical baby names and their meanings.
Some of my favorites are Ariel, Meir, Aaron, Benoni, and Gideon.
Oh, and I believe Malachi is pronounced Mal-a-khi, not Mal-a-ki, if you want to go by the correct Hebrew pronunciation.

I am done having kids, but I heard a young man sing at church and his name is Malachi which means "my messanger"
You can find it in Malachi chapter 1 verse one.
Pronounced Mal-a-kii
My daughter loved his name and thought he was a cutie also.

Wow.... nice long name...
However, God gave us creative usage of your creativity
Would it be better to shorten it to
Mahershal or Marshal ?
Since the name is from Isaiah 8:3, Call him Isaiah then.
Or better JHVH .....
