Can I get information on old employees of Qld Rail?

I am trying to trace my grandfather who is no longer among us and I am having trouble finding him birth death or marrage dates cant be found I know around 1917 he worked for Qld Rail and I was wondering if there was a way of getting any info from old employee files. any help would be appreciated.

I think the best thing would be to maybe get in contact with their human relations department. They are the ones that keep all of the records and that can access them.

I'm not sure how much information will be available from that era but that fact is that he may be on profile in a story or something that could just give you an inkling.
