REV 6:5 is what your referring to. I'd be inclined to believe this, there will be christians who die for thier faith in the days before armageddon. End time prophecy is not a simple thing to tackle so i'll try to be as concise as possible. I believe the world will go through a tribulation period. I have seen (vision) God return for his people, and the inhabitants of the earth are decieved about where they go. The antichrist exalts himself, there are several other events that occur between this and Jesus making war against the devil and final judgement for satan. Between the final judgement and after Jesus takes up his church there will be a number set aside to testify to Jesus, and his gospel. It's possible this number is what REV 6 is referring to.

It speaks of those that died for their faith. Keep in mind that there is much symbolism. You must keep this in mind otherwise, if you start to take everything literally, you will be very confused.

Compare Revelation 6:10 with this passage in Genesis:

Genesis 4:10  And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground.

Similar language.

I recommend a site which has many resources regarding Revelation and the symbols:

Nobody knows the time when Christ will come back, even Jesus himself. There are signs such ad the one you mention, and we are indeed in the end days, but no one knows when it will be.

Forget that.

Take a look at Genesis 6:4 and tell me what you think.
