I was born gay and am having a hard time dealing with my religion, it says I am living in sin, yet I was born this way. This is a very hard time in my life dealing with this subject, but I cannot hide it or deny myself being open in the world, and I would like other people who have delt with this to come forward and offer me advice on how to best live with this agony, I cannot live in silence anymore, or be silence anymore by the gestopos of the world who just want to sweep us under there rug int here attempt to mock and copycat us gays into hiding.

I am a doctor and I am not sure you can say if anyone is born anyway. The concept of being predisposed genetically is a very flimpsy one at best because if you think about it, the gay gene (if there were such a gene) would have wiped itself out within one generation because there is no offspring from a gay union.

I think it is most probably a nurture (as opposed to nature) issue. And somehow, you were influenced in some way in your earliest days to have gay tendencies.

For that I think everyone should be compassionate to the gay issue rather than bashing because it is a real issue and it was not really your fault because you were influenced at a very early age.

Having said that, I would say that I am very glad that you believe in God. I am not sure which God you worship but mine is the God of the Bible.

My take on this is this, if you believe in God, then you have to accept that being gay is a sin. When I was young, I was an incorrigible liar and I was a flirt. It felt so natural and so me. But I realised that either I believe in God or I don't. If I believed, then I have to humbly submit to this God and do as he says.

Today, I still have strong urges to lie and to flirt. But I try to hold it under control and ask God to give me the victory. When I fail, I repent and turn to God.

The problem with most gay people is that they don't want to accept that being gay is a sin. You are no lesser a person than a straight guy. God still loves you. But you have to admit that it is a sin and tell God it is a struggle for you and ask him to help you to overcome it.

You may fail and fall but I believe that God will not look down on the one who tries and fails. What he does not approve is the person who thinks he is alright and will not submit to God.

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. Know that there are many people in this country and this world who believe in their heart that people are born gay and there is nothing wrong with them. It's just another human variation like blue eyes versus brown or being tall or short. I think that while it will take a long time, religion will catch up to this way of thinking. Just look at how far gay acceptance has come in the last 50 years. It doesn't make it easier, but it'll happen. Hang in there.

We are all born with a sinful nature. Some of us desire unholy relationships, some of us desire drugs, and for some it is things like anger. To the world, a hot temper may seem like a smaller problem, but to God, it is all sin and all displeasing to him. Do I believe gay behavior is a sin? Yes. Is it worse than when I have anger without cause? No, the Bible tells me my anger is the same as murder. You will not be able to continue in your sin and please God, and you will have to deal with the judgment if you cannot make things right with Him, that doesn't mean you should be "silenced" or mocked. I am not without sin, so I may not cast a stone. I can only warn you of the judgment to come.

By the way, it isn't your gayness that will send you to hell. Have you ever stolen? Lied? Lusted? Blasphemed God's name? We all have, and that's why God made a way for us to receive Christ's righteousness, because there is no other way to Him.

First god is not what you think, humans today where created by another race of beings for the purpose of slavery. The humans that they created us from where androgenous, so the alien race of beings genetically altered humans and created males/adam and eve/females to make automatic slave producing units. The reason why some humans are born gay is because the programming is flawed and on top of that the spirit which animates human bodies the real you is also androgenous, and operates by the law of the universe which is like attracts like, society would like for us to believe that it's opposites attract, in reality, the programming for the opposite sex is like being addicted to drugs, they had to make it that way other wise, man and women would not reproduce for them, life was created in a different way before they interfered. This may seem unbelievable or crazy or whatever, but I guarantee you find a better answer to your problem in religion or anywhere else for that matter. good lujck on your search and hope you give this thought some consideration. I personallly am not gay, but I understand what it's all about to its deepest core and admire you for trying to be yourself no matter the obstacles.

I don't think that you were born gay. I think that being gay is a choice. But I know God loves you anyways. God doesn't make one be born gay. I really feel bad for you though' because I know it's been a hard struggle for you. Just continue to love God. That's all you can do'

Why do You feel You were born gay? Why would God destroy Sodom and Gomorrah if He created people as gay? Personally, I believe that homosexuallity is a psychological defect (not meaning to personally attack You). I use the term "defect" as people are born sinners, not gay. This is why we need Jesus Christ. Seek Him, don't seek answers on here. Get You a good study Bible...You won't be able to put it down!! God be with You in Jesus name

I don't understand. How are you "Gay from Birth"? Were you trying to have sex with men at age five, for example?

Not trying to be a smart-mouth; just asking.

I don't know of anyone who is herterosexual from birth; most of us are asexual until puberty.

If you really want a serious answer to your question, try asking the people at Exodus International. They claim that they are "ex-gay". Ask them the tough questions, if you dare, and see what they say.

God doesn't make people gay from birth, if you believe you were born gay then you need to be born again. how did you come to the conclusion you were born gay? what does religion have to do with it ? its about your beliefs, if you believe in God and His word then your statement is not possible. satan is the one who created sin. i'm not being mean ( this is my belief and answer).
