You do not need to come to a dentist, unless profuse bleeding occurs - which may mean that a vein, or nerve was severed.
Make sure to keep the area clean (normal brushing will do), and apply ice if theres any swelling.
If theres any pain, you can treat it using any over the counter local anesthetic, such as Anbesol.
Most likely, the tooth was her baby tooth, and her adult tooth should grow in soon. They may grow in later, but should be no later than 13 years of age.

MY son had a similar thing happen with one of his baby teeth - dentist only cleaned the area and said the 2nd tooth would come in fine- but I still would take her to the dentist.

Yes, you should see a Dentist! If the tooth was not ready to come out there could be part of the root left in her gums and/or her permanent tooth may not be formed at all or enough which could cause them to come in crooked.

Wrap the tooth in tissue and dampen the tissue then set the wrapped tooth on an ice cube and wrap the whole set-up in a clean wash cloth. Go to the emergency room if you can't reach a dentist. If this is an adult tooth it might be able to be re-attached.

If the tooth wasn't loose and it came out in such an unnatural way I think you better call the dentist or somethin'. That's not a usual situation and it would be safer to hear what a professional has to say.

This same thing happened with my niece! But it was playing with other girls, and all accidental ofcourse, etc etc. Anyway my sister took the niece to the dentist, and becuase her tooth came out too early, the new one grew in too far back. If you are covered by the dentist, I would take her just in case and to make sure. If you are not covered, then that's your call. It might be okay.

It probably was a baby tooth. But if you are worried you should probably take her to a dentist to make you feel better.

She should be allrght as long as her mouth is bleeding. Don't you know if she has lost any of her teeth yet? It's probably her first one which is why she is histerical. You might want to call your dentist in the morning to see what he thinks, but I don't believe he can do anything.......

if it was a baby tooth, she will probably be fine (they have very short roots, so it's not hard to bump or pull one out). Nevertheless, I'd talk to her dentist to be absolutely sure.
