Remember, we both still are college going students....and though she is a non-vegetarian, but so crazy and interesting in various kinds of ice-creams.

It shouldn't be very expensive but you should take her to a restaurant that features Indian (Indian as in India Not Native American) or Thai foods. Her being a non-vegetarian would best be suited to find something she will love at one of these International restaurants.

They should also serve "fried ice cream" so that would be nice for you both.

You should be able to get away with dinner for two for about $25 to $30 if you choose the right restaurant. And no alcohol.

Good luck to you..............

Eat everything that enjoys you and him!Order your favorite dish that corresponds to your diet and give him the best ice cream for dessert to crave! The most important is you enjoy or as well as you enjoy the company of each other! The dinner should not be a classy type that would be very expensive because you are both students! I think it is the quality of time that counts and not how expensive the ambiance is!You can find lots of non-expensive but presentable restaurant anywhere!Good luck and have agood time!

here is an idea find out what she/he likes then try to pick a place that fits. if ou know they do not like for instance chinese then stay away from it. alo if you do not like a particular thing then don't go there just because. usually as a guy i try to find out what my date likes then i pick from there or you can be really unique and cook something neutral for them at home it really depends on A. how romantic you want it B. is this a "date" or just a get to know you and lastly what are the plans afterwards i mean f you plan on going on a killer rollercoaster then i would stay away from heavy food but if you are going hiking or something where you are using a lot of energy then go for the carbs see what i mean. as i am also a trained chef i would go to market and check out some of the prepared items in meat section and try to make something simple even baked chicken with a tossed salad will show you put in the effort

I would also go with italian. If she has any special eating needs, like being a vegatarian, there is a lot of options in italian food. The setting is always nice and you can find broad ranges of prices. The best is to find an Italian place that has outside seating.

Nothing that will drip on your clothes or be too messy to eat. Find a nice little cafe that serves something other than cafe food - Indian or Thai or something, then ice cream somewhere else for dessert.

Something that is easy to eat. A nice plate of pasta (no tomato sauce though, because you can get stains easily) and a good desert (chocolate cake, ice cream in different flavours.
