It's actually really easy to find out:

If the tooth pain is spontaneous and lasts a long time and wakes you up at nights and intensify when you drink cold water, you will need a root canal treatment and probably a crown afterwards...

If the tooth pain is short and only happens when you touch it or drink cold water, you will probably need a filling there.

From your description, I think you will most likely need a root canal or maybe an EXTRACTION.

Oh, don't worry. It's probably just an infection that's creeping towards your brain, or maybe it is already there. Nothing to worry about if you don't mind scrambled eggs for a brain. Go See A Dentist or Physician and stop asking for advice on YA!!!

You definitely have an infection and should definitely see your dentist ASAP! Meantime, apply oil of cloves to the tooth and surrounding gum. This is not recommended for regular use, but you can rinse with peroxide. DON'T swallow it! Good Luck!

Did you bite into something hard? Maybe you clenched or gound your teeth at night. I would check in with the dentist if it is still hurting in a few days. You don't want to wait to long with your teeth.

it could be infection or it could be a nerve issue (which would be why the pain radiates to your nose). Make an appt with your dentist ASAP.
