Why dont illegal immigrants want to be American citizens?
Please tell me the truth.

Some do some don't. Some see America as a soft touch a place to earn some money use our social services etc. they have no respect for our laws because they are not being enforced. They seem to hate America but at the same time see nothing wrong with taking all they can get. It's all a big joke. We are like a cheap date. We keep getting screwed without even a kiss. Thank the politicians we have elected. When we get tired of being ...... maybe we will take the time to vote out the idiots and vote in some that actually represent the people. And I don't care what party they are from just so they start enforcing the laws.

Well it is a long proccess that should be done quicker and easier. Many illegal Mexican immigrants (not all) however, want to live here and take advantage of us, but still be Mexican citizens and be considered so. Not to say all illegals are Mexicans, but the fact is a majority of them are. No I'm not racist!

kelly..are u joking? you can barely type english let alone speak it i bet so shush.
its very hard for immigrants to become citizens. it takes them years just to get a visa to visit here for a few weeks. and then if theyre lucky enough to gain residence they have to wait more years just to apply for citizenship. it's not easy. i can't speak for them all but i'm sure theyd like to be citizens.
and sure, some might be freeloaders but not all. i mean thats a really retarded way of thinking. illegal immigrants who have kids here still wouldnt go out and try to get welfare or whatever..theyre too scared theyd be caught and sent back to their country. And mexico's been americas enemy for 200 years? maaaaaybe thats because America went to war with mexico to steal their land! that could be the reason. it's just ridiculous to stereotype a group like that.

In my opinion,
Its not that they don't want to be citizens,
it's just that it's so much easier to cross the border illegally instead of coming through the right, legal way

Because most they are THEFT and FREE LOADER,They hate US when all illegals breed babies and their babies be citizen and get benefits,why bother be citizen all of they are like to be criminal.
Remember mexico always be enemy since 200 years.

Who told you that that's what we immigrants are fighting for American citizenship for everybody legal or not and we love this country are very hard working and aren't lazy or uneducated like you hear in the news.
