I need ideas for an activities schedule for my babysitting kids. You know how, Supernanny does the whole scheduling thing. I would like to have a routine for the girls (a 10 month old and a 3 year old), so they spend less time watching tv. I get to their house at 7 am and leave at 5:30 pm. They have a pool, but get bored there easily. Thanks in advance.

First of all, as a mother of three, a ten month old rules his/her schedule. You really need to base you day around the baby, because a fussy baby is not a happy baby. Here's a little schedule we go by in my home. I have a nine month old, and two older boys.
After breakfast, maybe going for a nice walk or even to the park. Bring along a healthy snack for the kids, and have fun pushing them on the swing. Maybe a little reading after the park. Kids love to cuddle to a good story. After lunch is probably nap time, maybe even for both of the children. If the older child does not nap, maybe playing board games, or doing some arts and crafts with her. That way she doesn't feel left out, because the baby does take alot of attention. After nap is snack time again. Remember, kids need snack in between meals. Have your three year old help with snack. This makes her feel important. Give the baby some toys to play with in his high chair while you prepare the snacks. And sit at the table and have snack with them. If it's nice out, head for the pool. There are lots of pool toys out there, and join in on the fun. Squirt guns are fun, also. On days you need to stay inside? Pillow fights, and playing house. Get on their level and have fun!! I would also suggest no more than an hour of t.v. Noggin and PBS are great channels for children to watch. Good luck and have fun!

10 month olds are hard to have planned routines for, you kind of just go with the flow. Singing and reading are easiest at that age.
For the three year old plan hands on activities and crafts here's the site I use for my 2yr and twin 4yr olds http://www.first-school.ws/INDEX.HTM lots of fun and educational print outs and activities.
