and she said she sent me a check to cash an got mad when I told her I would not do it and told me she had all my information to go to the police to get me in trouble what is going on with this girl is she just trying to scam money out of me

Of course, it's all a scam.
By any chance wouldn't you happen to be deaf or hard of hearing?
If so, that's how this girl got your AIM or email address through a deaf dating website or videophone directory. Besides, lot of profiles on the deaf website are fake and were created by all these scammers.
This is a well known issue in the Deaf community.
Don't worry about her. She's trying to intimidate you and believe me, nothing is going to happen to you. In the meantime, you might want to alert the consumers department in your state and let them look into it.

SHE sent YOU a check? did you ask for it? if she sent you a check no she didnt scamyou.. why did she want you to cash it? where was it from? check up on the check, call the bank and ****.....
shes prob crazy and might be scamming OTHER people..notify the bank and see what they say...stop talkin to her until u know for sure.
what did she want you to do once it was cashed? did she ask YOU for money?
what funds was it in??

Yeah, what is it about Nigeria that attracts scammers? I've chatted with two women that started saying that they were either from Nigeria or going to Nigeria and trying to get me to donate or cash checks.
If you get this from them, just say I don't want to chat with you any more and block them. It's not worth it. They've just been using you man. Sorry.

be carefull with nigerian,, all are pranks and do like this, they will say they have sent check thru western union and stuff like that, dont get into prey
