Dating someone who is from a different cultural area than your own affects your relationship so I am sure race would as well to some degree. The question is how comfortable are you really with the differences?

Race shouldn't have any affect on a relationship. We're all human beings. I know for myself, it's not so much the RACE but the CULTURE that had a very positive effect on our relationship.

It can if you let what other people think of your relationship get to you. If you go into it with the mentality that anything other people think is going to affect you, then that will have an effect on your relationship. Don't worry what others think, and go with what feels right for YOU.

the only way this affects the relationship s if you allow it to. sure some old fashioned parents and people may not like the idea but then whos doing the dating? you or them. if you like someone age race and religion should not have anything to do with it as long as the likeability compata ility and interests are the same.

I think dating out of your race as you called it brings a new meaning to your life. I have dated a guy who was a different race than I and to be honest it was a verry cultural expirence, in a positive way!

you have to look at the whole picture. Some race mixtures are not excepted in different cultures, like black males & latin females. etc you have to think of the children that the mix will produce. Alot of times young people don't think past causual sex.
You have to give more thought past a good time, and where it may lead.

Yes. You must work harder for it to work. Not only is there pressure from society/parents etc not to do it, different cultures have different values that you'll have to accept. Relationships are hard at the best of times - harder in mixed races. Having said that, they can be fantastic!

Yes, if neither of you are of the human race, it could definitely be a problem. The customs, the language, and geez, piloting that darn spaceship! Oops, I didn't mean to smash into Jupiter, dog-gone-it. I'll try not to hit mars on the next turn!

It is better. Everyone goes into a relationship with different expectations. Being so different, you are forced to discuss these issues earlier on. This makes for a stronger relationship.
