Whatever a person's motive for drinking or smoking pot may be, whenever it becomes excessive in a negative way then it should be considered an addiction and treated the same. Alcoholism is more about the addictive behavior than the alcohol, so I would think an addiction to any substance should be considered a disease.

The dependancy to alcohol is a ailment seeing that it could possibly kill you. There could also be other underlying psychological/behavioral/ genetic/environmental issues that lead to alcohol abuse. That is especially authentic once the alcoholic replaces food for alcoholics.I'm not an informed, but i know that long term alcohol influences more than just the mind. It impacts the liver, heart, intestines, pancreas, ect. Alcoholics additionally are usually deficient in precise vitamins together with Thiamine, B12, folic acid, and iron. These vitamins are foremost in nerve function, which have an impact on organs and a bunch of chemical reactions that i'm now not an informed in. Additionally, not each drug addict can be taught to give up dependancy by using studying self-manage. Alcoholism is not rational. There may be different issues related to the alcohol dependancy. Some sufferers need more than learning self-control to quit. If finding out self-manipulate was once that convenient, it wouldn't be that problematic to deal with alcohol addiction. Withdrawal symptoms are additionally a quandary. I suppose that might establish it as a disease. Many drug addicts rebound while coping with withdrawal symptoms. I have no idea what sort of withdrawal signs are related to chocolate addiction. Chocolate is just not regarded a lethal drug so I consider that might take a lesser priority than alcohol abuse. Alcohol is a drug. Overdosing on it can spoil the liver and kidney. So it's riskless to say that alcohol is a more harmful "drug" choice than chocolate.

I smoke maryjane on a regular basis. Just as normal as drinking water or going to the bathroom. Never had any addiction issues with the "natural" drug. If I miss a day or a week or a month, the are no problems. CAFFEINE on the other hand.... I'm addicted to. Without my fix of caffeine, life sucks and I cant function.

The habit to alcohol is a affliction because of the fact it may kill you. there may well be different underlying psychological/behavioral/ genetic/environmental issues that deliver approximately alcohol abuse. that's quite authentic as quickly as the alcoholic replaces meals for alcoholics.i'm no longer an expert, yet i be attentive to that long term alcohol impacts extra effective than merely the concepts. It impacts the liver, heart, intestines, pancreas, ect. Alcoholics even tend to be unfavourable in specific supplementations inclusive of Thiamine, B12, folic acid, and iron. those supplementations are substantial in nerve function, which influence organs and a team of chemical reactions that i'm no longer an expert in. additionally, no longer each and every drug addict can learn how to provide up habit via getting to grasp capability of will. Alcoholism isn't rational. there may well be different issues linked with the alcohol habit. some sufferers choose extra effective than getting to grasp capability of will to stop. If getting to grasp capability of will exchange into that easy, it does no longer be that confusing to handle alcohol habit. Withdrawal warning signs are additionally a topic. i assume that would set up it as a affliction. Many drug addicts rebound on a similar time as coping with withdrawal warning signs. i don't be attentive to what type of withdrawal warning signs are linked with chocolate habit. Chocolate isn't considered a detrimental drug so i think of that would take a lesser priority than alcohol abuse. Alcohol is a drug. Overdosing on it may destroy the liver and kidney. So that's risk-free to declare that alcohol is a extra risky "drug" determination than chocolate.
