I wanna know if my parents are being stupid, or being right.
I don't get anything really more than $60.
Am I right or my parents right?

Maybe the problem isn't what you buy at one time, but rather the number of times you go there. When someone has to pay all of the bills plus watch their kids shop often, they tend to get a little nervous, frustrated and upset.

If you want to have some fun and get some cool clothes without freaking your parents out, start shopping at thrift stores more and the more expensive stores less. Parents might be impressed at your wisdom and maturity and you might find some really awesome clothes incredibly inexpensively.

I am 16 too and i shop at Hollister and Abercrombie & Fitch all the time. My parents don't ask or care whether i shop there or not. I am guessing your parents watch your spending? cause my parents don't do that.

Why are they "flipping out" when you shop at those stores? Just what did you buy there?

How about talk to your parents about _what_ in particular their objection really is, and go from there...?

It IS your money but you didn't really earn that money. It IS costing your parents far more money than you can ever contribute in form of help. At least you can return the courtesy of discussing with about their objections.

If that's where you prefer to shop, your parents should chill out. I never got why people buy stuff with a Company Logo, or Name printed on them. That gives them free advertising. Actually you are paying for their advertising. They make enough money with their products alone, without getting people to pay to have the Logo on the shirt.
Shop where you want.

I shop there. I dont understand why your parents would flip out over clothing stores. I think you are in the write here.. but I would find out why they are flipping out and talk to them about it atleast.

If it's your money you have the right to shop where ever you want to, but I personally never shop there because the prices are so outrageous and because of the fact you have to be asked to work there.

I shop there my parents really don't care and I spend more than you do! So I guess do whatever you want with your own money!

I just bought my son some clothes at Abercrombie. They were really cute and not much more than the clothes I saw at Foley's.
