I'd like it to seat 8 people and be scrolling wrought iron for the base. I can't seem to find this anywhere. I know I'm being picky, but it's really what I have my heart set on. Know of any manufacterers? Any help?

make one. find the scrolling wrought iron you like...for instance on a fence or something, get 3-4 pieces. take to a welder and have them welded together to form a base and go to a glass cutter and get the top cut to the size you want. It will probably turn out to be less expensive that way then finding it anyway and it will be a unique one of a kind piece.

I don't know of any manufacturers off hand that carries an 8 people glass table, but u can always measure or estimate the measurements needed for the glass and get that cut out, and then go and find a table frame to hold it up or get one made. This probaly would be a little cheaper and at least time consuming if you know anyone that could build u the legs or frame for the table. Good luck!

You could always design your own. You could create a sturdy base out of anything your heart desires, and have a glass company cut the top to your desired dimensions. If you were to do this, be sure to get the little clear soft plastic cushions that get placed on corners between the base and the top. If you don't find them at a hardware store, the glass company would probably have them or know where to get them.
You could really be creative with a project like that, and cut costs, too.

The largest I could find was an egyptian glass top that seated six I got it at a store called stix and stuff I'm sure they have a web site. It has the scrolling wrought iron for the base and is very beautiful and reasonably priced they may be able to order you one that seats 8

You know, you might want to try this question on the DIY portion of this site. Or, go to a site like HGTV.com. I've seen them make stuff like that on shows like "Double Take".
You should be picky about what you buy. If you aren't in love with the table, you'll never be happy with it. Keep shopping! I'm sure if you can't find one, you can have one made.

Look in the yellow pages for glass companies. Most glass companies can get you any kind of glass you need.

check "Craig's list" great stuff in lots of cities. Or you could check your local paper (even better if they provide an on line service with pictures). eBay another place (you could search for local pick-ups). Your local flea market? Garage sales? Thrift stores? So many choices... good luck.

i dont know where you are located. if you are in Ga. they do have glass places who make them to order. they can bevel edges too.
