that would all come down to his decision, personally, i wouldn't wax. if this will be his first time, he should use clippers then a electric razor. I've tried wax on a couple occasions and it's just not worth it. they say the hair will be gone for awhile but that is 100% untrue, wax for guys is a waste of money. the whole Nair answer you got, not bad. it reduces on razor bumps but it all doesn't come off with one swipe, watch the nipples also. i kept it on once for just a couple minutes, didn't realize it was on my nipple and WOW what a experience that was. lets just say I'll never do that again!! if he chooses to, a razor and shaving cream is not a good idea until after a couple of weeks shaving the area. the skin will not be use to it, causing razor bumps and not only is that unattractive but it itches until it goes away. so, from a guys point of view, start with clippers in order to get the hair down to a level that an electric razor will cut, it wont be as smooth as you like for the first couple of weeks but you have to start somewhere. and when it's time to break out the razor and shaving cream. remember, never go against the grain on the chest, if he does he will be taking a chance on getting ingrown hairs..hope this answer helps you and your husband out.

No, it would hurt too much! And then he would have to get it done at least once a month. OUCH! I, personally, like chest hair- love to run my fingers through it. Now, if it's TOO hairy- well, we all gotta learn to love each other's oddities.
LOL to what CStoos wrote.

You can't choose what a person should do to their body. I say, unless it's really thick, don't do it. Maybe trim it down or shape it, but unless he's thin-haired everywhere else, a shaved chest with hair everywhere else looks weird.

ummm...... lol.... well, if he's gonna get more action from you, and theres not any adverse effects, then if he's cool with it, sure. i'm not an excessively hairy guy, but i do have chest hair, and if my girl wanted to wax it, i know damn well i'm not doing that without a promise of getting something worth it in return.... wink wink.....

If he has a muscular chest then it will probably be okay. If he is over or under weight it will make him look even heavier or skinnier.
