There is this guy at work who i like, i want to ask him out for coffee but i haven't talked to him in a week. We have walked home together a couple of time so i was kinda of waiting for him to ask me out for coffee but he is really shy. I want to know if it is too late to ask him out for coffee?

I think it would be great if you asked him out. Being a guy, I know that I would accept, and love the fact that you approached me. There's so many missed opportunities, because neither person knows the feelings of the other. A guy can fear being "shot down", and will not make the first move.

It's never too late. If he's shy then you have to take the initiative to ask him. It's just coffee, you're not asking him to marry you!

it can't hurt...the worst thing that happens is that he says he can't and ur still in the same position u were beforehand or if says yes, then u might find a relationship...it's hard to ask someone out whether ur a guy or a girl, but believe me, it feels so much better once you go and do it

yeah.
if you're worried that you haven't spoken to him in a while, you can say something like, "oh, hey, haven't gotten to talk to you in a while. wanna go get some coffee and catch up?" something like this.
