I'm 16 and male. Last weekend I was down the shore and a couple weeks ago when I was down there, I saw this gorgeous hostess at this restaurant and she was my age. So this time, I went up to her as I was leaving and said "Hey, I know this is kind of awkard but I couldn't noticing how attractive you are so i wanted to come say hey?"...and then I just asked her a couple questions and then I asked for her number and she said how bout you give me yours(but I could tell she wasn't gunna call and she didn't)....so the whole thing was kind of rushed and awkard and I could tell she didn't really know how to respond, but I would still say I have a chance cuz she was all smiley beforehand. So tomorow I'll be back down the shore, so what should I say to her this time?

hey, nice seeing you again. How have you been?
Don't be pushy. She may have a bf already. Try being friends before shooting for the next level.
Don't bring up her not calling. It will put her on the defensive. If anything, assume she lost your number so give it to her again.

If she didn't call she's either playing hard to get or she's just not interested, chances are she gave her number only because you asked and didn't want to hurt your feelings by ditching you then and there in front of every one. If she's just playing hard to get then you could stand a chance if you play your cards right. At any rate, just take the high road for now. Go there, treat her like how you did previously ( i assume with respect and dignity) but say no word about the phone number she gave and or why she didn't call you. in fact don't speak about going out with her at all. pretend nothing happend. If she really digs you, she will eventually come around to asking you why were'nt you curious as to why she didn't call. Don't seem desperate to go out with her, all chicks hate that.

She's probably shy too. It's not easy making the first call. When you see her say something nice right off the bat, like "There she is!" or "Hey, Gorgeous". Don't pressure her. Be friendly and open.
... Don't forget, she may already have a boyfriend.
Good luck!

Instead of getting a number and hoping for something in the future, ask her what time she gets off and if you can meet her after work and take her for ice cream (or something else)

You don't know for sure she wasn't going to call. Confidence is sexy; being timid is a turnoff. She'll have more respect for you if you be direct. Just write your number on a piece of paper and hand it to her. She'll either call or not call.
