Micheal Spinks, first light heavyweight to win the heavyweight championship and he beat another great in Larry Holmes.
Leon Spinks the marine who beat Ali went guys with more experience were out psyched by the wily veteran. Young man, who was never fazed by the great man.
Leo Randolp who won his title and retired. Quite an impressive team.

Actually, there would have been a number. Michael and Leon Spinks and Sugar Ray Leonard both did as did Leo Randolph. Howard Davis Jr was the only American champion not to win a professional championship.
Going through the medallists, most didn't because they were from the Eastern Bloc.
