I can't begin to tell you how much I look forward to the rapture! I don't have the words to tell you how wonderful it will be just to see my savior!

do you know that he is only coming for those who glory in see his appearing? makes you wonder about the Christians that don't look forward to it.. doesn't it?

come quickly, Jesus!

What makes you think you would even recognize him if he did?
The last time around he was murdered for being a radical.
If he came back you could very well be in the crowd geering and applauding (while the media puts him up on a pedestal next to Saddam Hussein and osama bin ladden) and the geering crowds demand the death sentence.
My guess is that the doctrine of the church as drifted so far from its origins that if true source did come back to bring his message to the modern world that he would not need to speak in parables as most modern people are highly educated.
He would say things directly and explain his spiritual messages them scientific exactness.... the kind of details the peasant herds men 2000 years ago could never understand but detail that a modern audience would understand and be ready for.
And these teachings would be so radical to the church they would distance themselves as far as possible from him and if his message was catching on then they would condemn him message in the strongest possible way.

That would be a dream come true.....but I think this generation will Die out before he comes...which is cool too,if your saved...The one wold system is being set up right now but it will be a while before it gets put into play..when the dome of the rock in Israel gets blown up that will be the sign of the End....But I can't wait to see the Face of the Lord Jesus when I return Home....And like you, all I will wish I could have done more to serve him in my life.....

You're sick. How can you make Jesus a sex object?

But anyway, I think if Jesus comes back he's not supposed to be a nice guy this time. I'll be one of the ones he smites at the edge of the sword. Hallelujah!

It would be nice, but if we only focus on his return, there is so much we could do now and we would be holding ourselves back from our current ministry. It is like saying well Jesus is going to return anyway, then kicking back and hoping it is in our life. There is so many people who still need to hear the gospel.

As much as you'll hear folks say i cant wait to go home. I can and i'll tell you why. Do you know how many of your loved are still not saved? I know how many of mine are. And if we are commanded to go to the whole world and make disciples of men. How many would not hear if we went before our time. I can wait. There's work for me to do here, i have an eternity to enjoy His presence. Why rush when there are souls at stake?

Jesus will come when the time is right. He is my savior, but I feel it demeans the Lord of Life to treat him like a rock-star.
God does not tinker or meddle in human life: he has the universe to run.

I'm not christian, and i don't believe Jesus is God nor the son of God. Nor do i believe that he died on the cross for our sins. But i do believe that he will come to rid the earth of sins. And no, i can't wait.

Don't hold your breath. Not even his personal friend Bush can make it happen. He (Jesus) has been dead for a very very long time and is not up to time-travelling. You'll see martians before you see Jesus.
