For me, when I say that I just want to be friends that means I just want to be friends. Unless I used to talk to the guy as a date or bf and we didn't work out and I TOLD HIM what I didn't like about him and he comes back to me like a few of them did and say they want me back I would normally tell them I want to be friends unless they change. If they have the qualities that I want but is just lacking in something then ...maybe I might want to be with them..

tricky Q, could be either. 1 thing man has never conquered, figuring out women, {and vice-versa}.
give it time and play along as just a friend, if this bothers her.....she wants more.
