My husband uses a CPAP. When he first got it, it would ALWAYS be off in the morning without knowing how it happened. If you also wear the chin strap, try putting the chin strap on OVER the mask. It won't interfere with the machine, and it crosses over the straps in the back. It worked for him.....hope this helps.

Yes, I've done it a few times when I first got the CPAP. What happened was that they gave me the wrong kind of mask. Now that I have the right mask, I don't do it anymore.

Yes, of course some of people have this problem because
during you sleep the breath is not good and then you have breath by your mouse so that is why you can make the sound from your mouse and make you sleep apnea. And one more thing because of you are very sleep me and then you go to sleep can make you sleep apnea, too.

Well I do transcription for a pulmonologist and people do it all the time. Maybe next time you for for a ckup, ask to try a different mask, or just give him/her a call and see if you can get one by Rx without having to pay for an office visit cuz I know it is outrageous. Good luck.

Dito for my husband. I second what Barbara said. Also, give yourself some time - it takes awhile to get used to it.
