For future reference if you're going to get them do be careful never to refer to them as "dreads" or "dreadlocks" as it is considered offensive. Most people call them "locs". Locs are absolutely beautiful on most Black people, like Lauren Hill. Look up the history of locs and you'll see why you should refer to them as such. They are not a trend!! As effortless as it looks, locs are very hard to maintain so do your research before you take the plunge... Good luck!!

I LOVE DREADS!!!! I'm growing my hair out right now. Only on black folks though.....Looks odd on bleach blond silky haired chicks....ugh.
Anyone that thinks that dreads are a reason to not wash your hair are just plain ignorant.

I think dreads could look cool, but to me it would be hard to manage, and you'd be stuck with that hairstyle all the time.

If they are kelp neat and clean, then they're okay. But not keep them washed and taken care of, is plain sloppy. (Big Turn Off...)
