I need the name of the city where the branch office is located e.g. is located in downtown Chicago. Your relative clause describing the branch office is adequate because it immediately follows the noun it modifies.

The sentence is in the passive voice, which some claim to be inferior to the active voice. It would sound a little better if you wrote something more like,

"Our recently opened U.S. branch office lies in beautiful downtown Chicago."

"Someone can tell me what's worng with this sentence, and why?"

You need to switch "someone" and "can" and get rid of the comma after "sentence".

Oh, you mean the other sentence. I'm sorry. :)

Get rid of the word "in". And since you are refering to the office as being in the U.S it would probably be a good idea to also include a name of a city instead of simply "downtown". As it is now, the sentence assumes that the reader knows the city but but doesn't know what part of the city the office is located.
