Do you think there will be a Pre-, Mid-, or Post-Tribulation Rapture? WHY?

Question

The Bible talks about scoffers coming asking "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation."

Is it possible that this is because it isn't a Pre-Tribulation Rapture that Left Behind and other Biblical scholars prefer, but a Mid- or Post-Trib Rapture? Tell me what you think.

The Secret Rapture is fake. When Jesus comes for his people the world ends

Friends the belief in the SECRET RAPTURE is a dangerous doctrine because it is not Biblical. Please read with an open mind. Nowhere in the scriptures does it make any reference of a “SECRET RAPTURE”. Many people reference I Thessalonians 4 but they don’t actually read the whole chapter read verse 16.

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a SHOUT, with the VOICE of the archangel, and with the TRUMP of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first.

In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last Trump: for the TRUMPET shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. I Corinthians 15:52

These are some of the nosiest verses in the Bible how can it be a secret?


Where is the scripture that says “7 years of Tribulation”?

It cannot be found, because it is not in the Bible

Did God save Noah from the flood or through it

Did God save Israel from the plagues or through them

Did God save Daniel from the lions den or through it


But doesn’t the Bible say that the day of the Lord comes as a thief in the night?

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which THE HEAVENS SHALL PASS AWAY with a GREAT NOISE, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be BURNED up. II Peter 3:10

He comes as thief because it catches people by surprise.


What does the Bible say will happen when Jesus comes back

For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Matt 24:27

since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. II Thessalonians 1:6-8

1 angel rolled away the stone and 100 Roman soldiers collapsed in fear like dead men.

1 angel killed almost 200,000 Assyrian soldiers in one night

Jesus is coming with all his angels who will take flaming fire vengeance how can this be a secret?


But doesn’t the Bible say 1 shall be taken and 1 shall be left?


Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. Matt 24:28

Two men will be in the field: the one will be taken and the other left.” And they answered and said to Him, “Where, Lord?”
So He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.” Luke 17:36, 37


Notice how Jesus answers where the body and the vultures are gathered. The vultures devouring the flesh because those “Left Behind” will be dead.

The secret Rapture was created by a Catholic monk named Ribera. It was supposed to be used in the Counter Reformation, but no one believed it.

There is no Secret Rapture when Jesus comes he comes in glory the world does not go on for 7 years. When Jesus comes probation for sinners is over. We need to be ready now. Life does not continue on Earth after Jesus comes.

I didn't believe in the Rapture at all and then I came across the scriptures in Matthew chapter 24:

36 "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,[f] but only the Father.

37 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

38 For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark;

39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.

40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.

41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

42 "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into.

44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.


On verses 40 and 41, I now can see why people believe that God will bring those that are faithful from the earth (the rapture) when he destroys the wicked ones and brings about the plagues described in Revelation. But here is where I get puzzled... the bible says that the meek shall inherit the earth and live forever upon it. And those that truly believe in the bible know that the scriptures are inspired by God and what is written will come true...So do we return after all the wicked is destroyed??

Interesting question.... I am not sure that anyone will know until Jesus returns. Really though, I believe it comes down to your faith in God and his ability to take care of you... it wouldn't matter if he takes us from the earth or has angels protect us during the tribulation. God takes care of those that do his will.

Hey why don't you religious type ask the really tough questions. For example, scripture was quoted in a previous post which described either a lunar eclipse or all the light bulbs in the night sky falling down. We know stars can fall down from the sky because they are billions of miles away and would take eons to reach us if they did implode and some how began a journey toward earth. Second, where do they keep the trumpets? The Hubble space telescope has spotted debris from human constructed satellites but no mention has been made of a trumphet. Third, I assume angels are spirits or souls and do not have lungs so how do they blow or make the horn sound? Fourth, if God is going to "raise" the dead how will he go about reconstructing those six million plus Jews burned to ashes during the Holocaust?

I could be wrong but folks who embrace religions and supersitions seem to be lazy thinkers.

The rapture will occur right before God pours out his wrath on the earth at the end of the tribulation.

Here Jesus talks about the "elect" being gathered at the sound of a trumpet. The term is applied to believers who make up the church, both Jew and Gentile.

Matthew 24:29 "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Notice in the next passage is says at the "last" trumpet.

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold! I tell you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we shall be changed.

Revelation 10:7 but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, whenever he is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

The "mystery" is that God would unite Jews and Gentiles into one people under God. Right before God pours out his wrath on this world He will rescue the church.

In the next chapter where it again talks about the last or 7th trumpet we see the judgment of rewards for believers.

Revelation 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of this world have become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!" 16 And the twenty-four elders, those before the throne of God who sit on their thrones, fell on their faces and worshipped God, 17 saying: "We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. 18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, and to those that fear Your name, to the small and to the great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth."

Pretribulation rapture is the main suitable lie of our day. the only people who have self assurance in any rapture in basic terms before Christs 2d coming are people who believe their salvation to somebody else. no you will hit upon any scriptural connection with the different rapture, different than the single Christ brings on, with out somebody explaining to them that they simply lack the potential to interprate the Bible properly. The Bible says that the tip shall no longer come till there's a great falling away. quicker or later those phony Christians will lose faith as they see that no sectret rapture is going to happen. the secret rapture is a lie, and now which you have study this, you won't be in a position of tell God which you probably did no longer be responsive to.

Theres the rapture.Then There`s the rapture of the thousands of jews who will realize that Jesus is the messiah and will be taken to be with him .All others who are left during that time will struggle and many will be killed for their believe.They`ll try to wipe christanity out.
