God can't eliminate Satan because neither of them exists.
Think god out of existence. Take responsibility for who you are.

Good question.
Because one of three things:
[1] Satan is actually in charge and God is dead (as Nietschze said)
[2] Because God is lazy and let Satan go on living or since God is human (if he is a He then that means he has a penis and/or can procreate) so he was susceptible to Satan's ruses and mind tricks
[3] Satan = God = Satan they are the same person.
Now I will read the other Answers. Good question, again.

well it's all because of the garden of Eden and original sin. I don't know if you know about all that stuff but it's the reason why there is evil in the world today. God didn't intend there to be evil but that's what humans chose. As for Satan well the angels had a choice too. Satan chose to be evil instead of good and if there's one thing God can't mess wit it's free will. So that's why he can't destroy him.

Surely God can eliminate Satan, bad Muslims, bad Christians, bad Jews,Agnostics...but will God be doing justice by doing that.
What God want is to reward those who are in the best of conduct;evils and hardships are just challenges to overcome.

The plan is in place to do so. It says this in the Bible. I believe for some reason, that if it was done now it would throw the world into a chaotic meltdown of destruction. Not because of hell either, but because of the nature of the forces at work.

What's the fun of a game without an apponent?
What's friend if there aren't any adversary?
What's the joy of light if you hadn't seen despair of darkness?
Perhaps the time will come but for an eternal celestial being,
that live forever, time is never a concern or a constrain.

Because if he did that, humans won't need a god.
Its just like governments telling citizens of threats and blowing them up to justify the need for big military budgets, and therefore finding the right to tax the people.

God created satan to worship Him.As it says in the Holy Quran "And I created the humans and the Jinn(satan) only for worshipping Me(God)".
So God created us (satan and humans)to worship Him,and God gave us the decision to worship Him or not.whoever worships Him and follows His commands ..then he will be of the winners in Paradise...but,if he decides to go astray and...then he will be of the losers (May Allah swt save us from the Hellfire Ameen).
The answer to ur question as to why God doesnt eliminate satan ,is because He wants to test us to see if we will follow him or not.And if we do follow satan ,,,then we will be punished the most severe punishment...but if we dont listen to satan and follow Gods commands...then we will win Paradise and most importantly...we will gain Allahs swt pardon.
