well if you just want to say "I need to see a photo ID" The u say necesito ver una identificacion con foto por favor. If you want to ask them for a drivers license you say " Me permite la licensia por favor"

I am sure u have plenty of the same answers. Well, at least I got 2 points. Some people r probably just looking up the words or just took intro Spanish. I lived there for 10 years (Bolivia, that is).

Necesito ver su carnet de identidad.
(The spanish identity card always has a photo on it.
In latin american countrires the answer you have already received from most everyone is correct:
Necesito ver una identificación con foto
or
Por favor me enseña una pieza de identificación con foto
