Give the DAD/FATHER 2 weeks to find a job. If he doesn't HE and the kids are OUT!!!

Tough love here!!! No Ifs, ands or buts about it!!!

It is NOT your problem if they are out on the streets. There are MANY places they can go.

The DAD can contact your local Department of Human Services, Get emergency shelter, food stamps etc.

He also can contact the Salvation Army, Community Action Agency and other Social Service Organizations in the area.

They all have assistance they can provide for him & the kids. Also many churchs have funds available for this type of situation.

All he has to do is CALL and APPLY!!!

MAKE HIM DO IT IMMEDIATELY!!!

DO NOT LET HIM WAIT ONE MORE DAY!

First of all, my condolences. Second, get them involved in the household. Divide the chores, cooking, etc. Don't know how young the kids are, but even small kids can help with some chores. Make things as pleasant as possible for everyone and have fun. Mom's in a wheelchair but you all can still go out- to the zoo, movies, etc. Do things together as a family and make the newcomers feel at home. I don't know the situation behind all this, but the kids are probably having a hard time. They may hide it, but things like this can have an adverse affect on them for the rest of their lives.

Best of luck to you.

Be honest with him by letting him know he needs to find work cause you have alot to take care of already and remind him that his 2 kids need him emotionally and financially. Take it day by day and always hold your head high.

I'd move out! Is that an option? If not .... when I find my house and my mind crowded I walk, sometimes for miles, but it clears my head and relieves my stress.

When I got unexpected long term guests, I got us all a memberships to the YMCA.

Nothing like exercise and karate classes to relieve stress.

Put your foot down, be strong, lay down a few ground rules, see if there is a shelter close by for Dad.
