There really is no such thing as a "teacup" dog of any breed. These dogs can sometimes be bred to be smaller, or in all actuality be the "runt" of the litter. The chihuahua is the smallest breed of dog.

Look on AKC's website and name one single breed that is TEACUP.
NONE, NOTTA, ZIP, ZERO.
Breeders use the term to lure, scam, screw, and suck money out of the naive buyers.
Chi is the smallest I know of, but often a breed will produce a smaller than normal pup. This is not a good thing either. The smaller the dog, the more health issues it will have.
And lets not forget, dogs that are OVER OR UNDER the breeds standard is DISQUALIFIED TOO.
Meaning "not good enough to show" therefore isn't a good representation of the breed.
Dwarfism isn't a good thing.

don't be fooled, there is no teacup breed of anything. This is just a ploy by backyard breeders and puppy mills to charge more. The breed runts to runts ending up with smaller and smaller dogs. This is a huge health hazard. Not only does inbreeding occur, but it can be very expensive if not impossible to fix broken bones that small or to repair injured organs. Dogs weren't meant to be that small.

there is no such element as a tea cup canine. only a moron would purchase a tea cup runt. And the Chihuahua is the smallest breed. Yorkie, Min pins and Rat terriers are exceptionally small too.

the teacup chihuahuah is the smallest- I have one and she weighs 4 lbs. A standard Chih weighs around 12 lbs.
