The first few pounds are usually water. Stick to your plan and don't get discouraged... you win the weigh loss game in a marathon, not a dash.

Don't know what you are doing so can't say but it means do things differently. It is mostly NOT your fault, if you need to lose weight. The way you have been taught to eat is responsible for making obesity the number one health problem in the world (according to Atlantic Monthly magazine) replacing hunger and infectious disease. You need to re-learn how to eat so you can become thin. Not a diet, but diet lifestyle.

Find out about fastest way to lose weight, gradual ways to lose weight, most effective exercise and anti-water. Lose bodyfat and retained water which also makes you a lot fatter (bloated). Most important-- make sure to read the last "fat loss tip", first before anything else, to see the number one food that causes Americans to be fat.

The first 10-20 pounds are water loss. Losing fat is much harder, unless you can stand the Atkins diet.

Our bodies are very efficient machines. If you eat the same amount of calories every day and exercise in the same way, moving your muscles in the same direction every time, your body will just work too efficiently to burn very many calories. You need to shake up your routine to get things jumpstarted again. If you're used to walking, try biking or an aerobics class. Have a few high calorie days followed by a few lower calorie days. Try to wake up your body and it'll get going again.

just keep at it, its going to take a while, it fluctuates according to your body. What I have been doing is every time I get stuck i try a new change...one week more water....another month less sugar...this month i am lowering the sodium in my foods ....slow changes usually help keep u motivated and you ad those lifestyle changes forever.

good luck!
