Before I say anything else, I do know that the Bible says no man knows the day or the hour, not even the son, only the father....

*BUT* If you saw signs of His return like in prophesies and the antichrist and the seven year treaty and stuff like that occurring, would you expect him any minute? Doesn't the Bible also say, "They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." So, does someone have to be legitimately disappointed that he did not meet their expectation.....?

(Kinda makes you wonder if Answers is the fulfillment of this prophesy, doesn't it.....?)

What were you expecting?
What God has done is good enough for me, and I'll wait forever to get to heaven. I know I'll be in heaven before long, though will never be disappointed.

What is there to be disappointed in?

it best to be prepared (saved) or to be preparing for the thief to come? there will be signs as mentioned in the Bible, as you may recall when Noah was building the ark he had been telling people about what would befall on earth for over 700 years and still people did not listen until they saw the rain. People will believe later when they see the signs, but who said that a certain person will be here to believe when the signs are happening? Life is like a flower that falls to the ground and the wind blows it away and the land where this flower was will never see that one particular flower again. So if a person is getting ready who said that person will see tomorrow? He or she could die on the way home.

Christians have felt that the end was near since the temple burned down almost 2 thousand years ago. Just live your life the best way you can, and when the time comes, it comes.

no one knows the exact day and hour...but believers are given "clues" that the time is near...this way we can prepare> Unbelievers don't see world events as a big deal therefore wehn Jesus returns it will be unexpected like a "thief in the night"

just expect Him every minute and live like he is going to walk right in on you. That way you will be prepared when ever He comes.Be the good Watchman and try to save as many people as you can .
