Humans are about the most sexual creatures on the planet. Even with this in mind, you really need to let your son know that sexuality is a private issue and at his age he needs to stop the group sex behavior.
If this were my son, I would have a talk with him. I would explain that masturbation is pretty normal but the engaging in sex with friends is not allowed. I wouldn't allow the friends over unless I could supervise what was going on.
Abnormal behavior (engaging in group sex as you describe) can be normal, but it can also indicate that some type of sexual abuse has occurred. You might see what is going on inside your boy's head.

It is absolutely normal! Unless that is the only thing he and his friends are interested in doing. The age of puberty has been getting lower for many years. If none of them are being forced to do it,it is a perfectly fine. I work with grade school children and many of them touch themselves and eachother at my work ( of course we have to discourage this as inappropriate behavior, which it is in a public setting, but in the privacy of your sons bedroom it is great way to explore and learn about sex and his body).
You should talk to him about sexuallity and gender. You should tell him how you feel about it and listen to his thoughts and feelings. You might want to warn him about negative public mores around masturbation and sex with samesex partners. If his friends are involved you need to consider letting their parents know what is going on or you could possibly get in to some trouble.
Please don't get caught up with all these idiots who are hysterical about sex and children. Sex is good not bad. Rape and forced sex are bad. It dosen't sound like he or his friends are having to do this against thier wills. It is unlikely that he needs a Dr. or Phycologist.
That being said you should be a parent and find out about how he and his friends started getting into this behavior and if any of them are pressuring him into this.

first you need to realize why your son is acting this way, have you ever talked with him about sexuallity? do you spend time with him? do you care about what he does? if you are sure you have a good score as a parent then u need to have a talk with him and explain why its wrong to do it. I would also try to be aware of the things we watches on tv or computer.
because maybe his actions are just to imitate an adults movie. He is only a child who needs orientation and attention. not a 10 years old gay. try giving him more of your time and act promptly to stop that behaviour. ask an expert if you need to.

Seek the help of a child psychologist for your son. it is normal for children 2 masturbate by themselves, but it is not normal or appropriate for him 2 touch other children in a sexual way at this age. this could be a sign that a child was molested or that one of his friends were molested and he learned it from them. Ask your child where he learned this behavior from. all the children involved in this need 2 see a psychologist so contact there parents about this matter.

No that's not normal. It's fine if he masturbates by himself but he shouldn't do it in front of other people. You should have a talk with him and help him understand himself. He's probaly just going through a phase, and once he goes through sex ed and understands himself better he will probaly grow out of it.

I think it is a little different, but kids are maturing way faster than I did when I was little. I remember getting excited when I was about 10 when my best friend showed me a photo of a naked man and woman. Her dad had some dirty magazines under his bed.

Um yeah. Obviously you dont have a son in fourth grade. No parent would allow that to happen and most boys wouldnt even try to do that in front of other kids. So stop bein a perv. And if your really this kids parent, GET OFF YOUR *** AND GET YOUR KID TO A SHRINK! And yourself for that matter. STEP UP!

whether it's normal or not is not the point. If other parents hear about this and you are allowing it, you could potentially be brought up on charges. I am sure you have nothing to do with this, but other parents might FREAK about it.

And you are allowing his friends to come over and masturbate? You'd better hope their parents don't find out because you can be arrested. Have a nice day faker.
