What do you belive the rapture is or DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE BIBLES SAYS ABOUT THIS SUBJECT?

No, he will not take away the organ that was giving away!
Proof----- PHILIPPIANS 3:21. THERE IS MORE BUT YOU HAVE TO DO YOUR PART ASWELL! CHRIST SAID HE WILL MAKE ALL THINGS NEW INCLUDING OUR SINNFULL BODIES AND BE GIVING GLORIOUS ONES LIKE JESUS.

I am appalled to think that I swallowed this Biblical fantasy when I was a child of Lancaster Conference Mennonites. Now I can amuse myself with the thought of men and women caught up into the air while at the peak of love-making, dripping body fluids and flailing naked limbs. A "sinful" mother giving birth to an innocent baby would stay on the bed while the kid rose, ripping the umbilical cord, creating a grand mess. A heathen man making love to his sainted wife would find himself suddenly humping his pillow. Those who perpetuate these bizarre scenarios demonstrate the irrelevancy of religious fundamentalism

Presumably, God doesn't particularly care about people's bodies. If he does, then people are doing the -wrong thing- by burying bodies. If you bury something organic (which people certainly are), it rots. That's why we say "ashes to ashes, dust to dust" over the grave. God isn't going to ressurect a pile of dirt, steal some poor guy's recently-acquired kidney, and take those up into the air.

If God exists (which I personally believe He doesn't), He would be taking their souls.

Either that or He's a morbid psychopath who wants a decomposed zombie army.

What if a Christian got his leg cut off and they couldn't reattach it two days prior to getting Raptured...does the leg go with him.........think about it......The organ wouldn't disappear because it's a part of that persons body now.

The rapture is not in the Bible. The rapture was an idea created by a southern preacher in the late 1800s. Saw this on PBS but sorry I forgot his name but I swear it is true.

Thats dumb Christ takes us up spiritually and gives us a new and better body just like His!

1Th 4:13 But I would not have you ignorant, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, that you be not grieved, even as others who have no hope.
1Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will also bring with Him all those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.
1Th 4:15 For we say this to you by the Word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord shall not go before those who are asleep.
1Th 4:16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ shall rise first.
1Th 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall ever be with the Lord.
1Th 4:18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

genius question, with incredible insight.

wait a minute...what if our bodies are simply temples for the soul. Would it matter if your temple was partially built with spare or used parts? I don't think so.

If your hair is cut, does all the hair follow you up? And your toenails? And your droppings? and urine? and "dead" skin? What about the tears I cried? The blood I have spilt? The weight I lost?

So...I thought about it, and I think that people who have had christian organs donated to them will be pretty safe.

I am christian but I do not believe in rapture, since it is just weird God suddenly take away all His people vanishing all over the earth.

God only raptures the soul, not the body or any part of the body. The body turns to dust.
