You cant change the fact that she is pregnant, so be supportive and caring. She needs the reassurance right now, not the lectures

I guess it would be natural for you to have a whole bunch of conflicting emotions. If I put myself in your situation (you don't say if you are younger or older than she is), I think I might feel a bit embarrassed, a bit sad, a bit mad and even a bit "thank God it's not me." But, she is your sister, and above all you need to really be there for her right now as much as you can, no matter how you feel. She's really going through something life altering, and she can use all the non-judgmental support she can get.

When i found out my sister was pregnant, i was mad at first. Then i tried to put myself in her shoes. I know you might still feel a little confuse, hurt and angry but try to understand that she might be confuse and scared too. Her entire life and priorities is about to change and she's only 17. Try to lessen the burden by being her friend and constantly assuring her that you will all be there for her. She is family after all. Love her and her unborn child. Sometimes it might seem hard but wait till the baby comes...everything will be alright. Good Luck!!!

Is she keeping the baby? Adoption is always a good option for VERY young mothers. While this surely wont 'ruin' her life, it sure can make things a whole lot more challenging.
How should you feel? Are you younger or older? I would look at it as an example of what NOT to do......
If she is keeping the baby, be excited and supportive in any way you can.
If she chooses adoption---again, support her and be there for her.

Happy:) support her, for now the beautiful creation that she carries within her womb is the most important thing in the whole world, thus she must be treated with the utmost respect:)

Since many people wont, support her, tell her you love her no matter what.
she needs you,.
you 2 are sisters, and dont let something as special as this get in the way, thinking it is bad.
and when you hear people talking bad about her, you tell them to shut their mouths, it is none of their bussiness!

You shouldnt have to ask about how you should feel. You should just find some quiet time for yourself and think on it. No one can tell you how you SHOULD feel.
But no matter what, she is still your sister and you can talk to her about it.

Be helpful, but feel sorry for her. She's going to have a rough time meeting nice guys that want "ready-made" families.

You should feel pregnant, too. She is not the only one pregnant...the entire family is.... That's what she gets for having sex before marriage. Two lives ruined...hers and the child's.
