Khoda has many meanings but I think in Songs it refers to either GOD or ur loved one but most probably it is Loved 1 .. many Urdu and persian singers use this word to refer to the Loved 1
I hope this has answered ur question.....

You are astute :)
Yes, in Persian songs usually you hear somethings about God.
As you know, "Khodaa" in Persian language means God. While signers use this word into their songs they want to stress somethings important and they promise to God or they want to say somethings like their true love is very important. This time you shouldn't translate it God. It has root in our history and culture.
I mention you some words like:

Kad khodaa = A leader or owner in a village
Naa khodaa = The commander of a ship

In those words "Khodaa" means leader / boss / owner.

Also, in Persian language "Parvardegaar" means "God" too.

Good luck

No it does not make sense and I will get to the root of it. Most Persians are Muslims, and Muslims call God Allah. There, after thinking about it, you know that I am right, and you will now award me the ten points.
