Well....The short answer is yes. There are no rules prohibiting marriage because one has a baby or is pregnant.
However, 'to appease her deceased father's wishes' might not be the best reason to be married in the Church. Because she wants a sacramental marriage and plans on being a part of the Chruch community----THAT is why one should be married in the Church.
She should contact the priest, register in the parish and begin taking classes so that she can have the baby baptized.

Yes you can. My husband and I were actually married in a civil ceremony first outside of the church because we got engaged and then found out he might have to go to Iraq. We wanted to be married before he left and didn't have time to plan a catholic wedding. A few months later we found out that he wasn't going so we decided to have a baby. She was born Sept. 2005. In November 2005, we had a wonderful double ceremony -- a co-validation ceremony and a christening. The co-validation ceremony is where the catholic church actually blesses the marriage and then recognizes you as a married couple. And they are very common.
Even though we were married before the baby was born, we weren't in the eyes of the church since we didn't get married in the church and didn't ask permission to get married outside of the church. So having the baby doesn't have any effect on having the wedding.

They will. The Catholic church will at least appreciate that there is an attempt to make it a sanctioned union (with the product all ready evident). Prepare tobe chastised by the priest during your talk with him. My cousin got married with an empire cut gown to hide the 7 month bulge.

Yes. There are not any rules prohibiting her from marrying in the church. Now if either her or her fiance has been married before an annulment will need to be granted before they can marry. She and her fiance will have to set up a meeting with their parish Priest to discuss any concerns they may have.

I seriously doubt it. If you're referring to the traditional Catholic church, then no...absolutely not. If you're referring to the novus ordo Catholic church (the one that most people attend these days), it's my understanding that they'll let just about anything go. (Girls in short skirts, chewing gum, three piece bands on the altar, etc.) If this is the case, they'd probably let your friend get married to a Methodist in the Catholic church.

yes, and in our diocese the marriage cannot take place before the birth because marriage must be entered into by consenting parties because they want to marry ...the couple can have a civil ceremony with a church blessing later.

It depends on the person performing the marriage. They need to speak with the priest they are intending on performing the ceremony and if he says he won't do it then, they should find another one.

she needs to discuss this with the priest, it really depends on what he decides to do, some will allow it and some won't
