I am a dark brunette and I recently got a perm and I am at least 2 shades lighter. I wonder how it would look if you just used it as a highliter instead of a total dye. My ends of my hair have always been lighter and when I would get a perm it would lighten up my hair and I liked it.

I have dark brown hair, and I buy that $6-7 highlighting kit that you pull through a hat.... everyone thinks i go to a salon.. if it has red tones itll go through an "orange" phase for a pretty blonde... A while back i didnt want to do such a dramatic look, and I just used sun-in... I modeled for a hair convention and they people were going crazy over my " highlights" those people are the ones that charge $400 a cut and I was laughin my *** of think its just a $3 bottle of sun in and a blow dryer... hehehe
