God's name is Jehovah, they believe Jesus is his son, and the holy spirit is God's force or power, and that Jesus died for our sins, they go door to door to teach people about the bible, their beilefs are based solely on the bible and not tradition, they believe that some will go to heaven(144,000) and be co-rulers with Jesus and the rest will reside on earth in perfect conditions like adam and eve had at first, that God's kingdom will do away with earthly governments and rule forever righteously, and they don't celebrate holidays, but they do weddings, anniversaries, memorialize Jesus' death, and they have high moral values.

Most modern day Religions were founded in the 1800's so what the lady said has no accountability.
A Witness will be expelled if he does not comply with God's Word, once again the lady does not know what she is talking about, these are the reasons a person would be disfellowshipped:
Some of the offenses that could merit disfellowshipping from the Christian congregation are fornication, adultery, homosexuality, greed, extortion, thievery, lying, drunkenness, reviling, spiritism, murder, idolatry, apostasy, and the causing of divisions in the congregation.
Unlike most other religions, we do keep our Congregations clean. Now the answer to your ???
Jehovah’s Witnesses
Definition: The worldwide Christian society of people who actively bear witness regarding Jehovah God and his purposes affecting mankind. They base their beliefs solely on the Bible.
How is the work of Jehovah’s Witnesses financed?
By voluntary contributions, as was true with the early Christians. (2 Cor. 8:12; 9:7) No collections are ever taken at their meetings; they do not beg for money from the public. Any donations from interested persons are used to further the worldwide work of Bible education conducted by the Witnesses.
Witnesses are not paid to go from house to house or to offer Bible literature on the streets. Love for God and for neighbor motivates them to talk about God’s loving provisions for mankind.
The Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania, a legal religious corporation that is used by Jehovah’s Witnesses, was incorporated in 1884 in accordance with the Nonprofit Corporation Law of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. Thus, by law it cannot be, and it is not, a profit-making enterprise, nor do individuals make a profit through this Society. The Society’s charter states: “It [the Society] does not contemplate pecuniary gain or profit, incidentally or otherwise, to its members, directors or officers.”
Are Jehovah’s Witnesses a sect or a cult?
Some define sect to mean a group that has broken away from an established religion. Others apply the term to a group that follows a particular human leader or teacher. The term is usually used in a derogatory way. Jehovah’s Witnesses are not an offshoot of some church but include persons from all walks of life and from many religious backgrounds. They do not look to any human, but rather to Jesus Christ, as their leader.
A cult is a religion that is said to be unorthodox or that emphasizes devotion according to prescribed ritual. Many cults follow a living human leader, and often their adherents live in groups apart from the rest of society. The standard for what is orthodox, however, should be God’s Word, and Jehovah’s Witnesses strictly adhere to the Bible. Their worship is a way of life, not a ritual devotion. They neither follow a human nor isolate themselves from the rest of society. They live and work in the midst of other people.

What I know is a little sketchy, but here it goes.
Jehovah's Witnesses do believe in God, but there are parts of the Bible, as most of us know it, that they don't believe or teach.
They do not celebrate ANY holiday, and I mean "ANY". That means that they don't celebrate birthdays, Christmas, or anniverseries. Nothing.
The Jehovah's Witness churches teach the same sermon on the same Sunday, so that no matter what JW church you go to, you will hear the same thing taught.
They do believe in God, though. Just not too many people are into the whole JW thing.

The Jehovah´s Witnesses are a religious movement which was founded in the 1870s by the American Charles Taze Russell.
The expectation of the imminent end of the world naturally influences the view of "the world" which Jehovah´s Witnesses hold. To them, participation in social and political life is in vain. Love of one’s neighbour is limited to preaching their teachings to everybody. They consider it their task to convert as many people as possible into the Jehovah´s Witnesses, because salvation depends upon it.
One significant feature of the teachings of the Jehovah´s Witnesses is the sharp rejection of the Christian belief in the Triune God. They separate the Father from the Son, and they do not believe that Jesus is God. Their ideas of "God" have been given non-Christian content, and God is seen as a gruesome Avenger. In the teachings of the Witnesses, Jesus Christ as the merciful saviour is receding from view. Obedience to the law, merits, and principles are introduced as the basis of man´s salvation.
Witnesses are requested to participate in door-to-door preaching, as well as in several meetings every week
Witness is not allowed to smoke, to receive blood, to do military service, to celebrate feast days such as Christmas, birthdays and Shrove tuesday, to participate in political life or to vote in elections. Nor are the Witnesses allowed to read literature that is critical of the Watchtower Society.
A Witness will be expelled if he does not comply and show loyalty to the Society. Witnesses are not allowed to question the teachings of the Watchtower Society, and they must live in accordance with the fixed rules. If they do not obey orders they will be spied upon by their own local "congregation". In the event that a Witness is expelled, he will immediately be shunned by all the other Witnesses and by all his friends. The Witnesses are not even allowed to greet an expelled one if they meet him in the street. The purpose of this psychological punishment is to make the expelled one return to "the right path" and submit.

Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion well known for their door-to-door ministry and neutrality.
Jehovah's Witnesses understand the Scriptures to teach that God's Kingdom will soon replace all earthly governments.
(Daniel 2:44) God of heaven will set up a kingdom... It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite
That Kingdom will rule over the vast majority of mankind, most of whom will have been raised from the dead after Armageddon.
(John 11:23,24) Jesus said to her: “Your brother will rise.” Martha said to him: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.”
(Acts 24:15) There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Until that resurrection, there is no suffering in "hell", or the grave. Sometime after the resurrection, death and "hell" will themselves be destroyed.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5) For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all
(Ecclesiastes 9:10) there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in Sheol ["hell"]
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Hades ["hell"] were hurled into the lake of fire
While a limitted number of humans will be resurrected to heaven to share in ruling over mankind, the vast majority (literally more than 99.9%) of Jehovah's Witnesses expect an EARTHLY hope, the same hope given to Adam and Eve.
(Genesis 1:28) God blessed them and God said to them: “Be fruitful and become many and fill THE EARTH and subdue it [caps added]
(Genesis 2:17) You must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die [so never eating from that tree means never dying]
Interestingly, the Scriptures are full of references to this earthly hope.
(Psalms 37:11) 'the meek will possess the earth'
(Proverbs 2:21) 'upright will reside in the earth'
(Isaiah 45:18) 'God formed the earth to be inhabited'
(Matthew 5:5) 'the mild will inherit the earth'
(Revelation 21:3) The tent of God is with mankind

All of the above is true but to be more in depth. They believe that their blood is their soul and to give it away is unthinkable. But it's not like they're greedy in that way. Many volunteer at hosipitals. They don't celebrate holidays like birthdays because they think that if you really cared about someone you don't need a reason to give them a present or make them feel special on only one day. They don't celebrate christmas because the bible never told them to celebrate Jesus' birthday. And lastly i believe Jehovah is the real name of god. That's all i remember.

Jehovahs Witnesses do have self assurance in heaven and hell. in basic terms no longer in the assumption you state. Heaven : is the place Jehovah is residing with the spirit creatures and Jesus. Hell : The grave of mankind. (Sheol) the place the ineffective wait for the resurrection Jesus taught approximately. interest asked to be remembered too. Earth : the situation the 'meek will inherit'. .with the aid of fact the paradise Jesus taught .

Jesus is considered a prophet. NOT the son of God. They also believe that if you are NOT one of them, you will not go to heaven. They also don't believe in the occult and do not believe in getting blood transfusions, only plasma. They don't celebrate holidays either...the Christian ones, and their birthdays.

They come to your door and tell you about the teachings of Jesus and stuff. Ok, Religion is all well and good, but they come back every week. They waste their own time!
They also keep saying the world's going to end. It sould have ended yesterday...
