When I was in culinary school I had to eat "sweet breads", which sounds nice, but unfortunately they are the steamed lymph glands of an animal, usually a cow....also had to try brain as well...yuck!

And my weird thing I eat is mayo on my french fries!

The strangest and weirdest thing I've ever eaten has to be pigs' ears in Barcelona at a tapas bar, and they were awful!! Yuk!! They were tough, yet pure grizzle. I was chewing a very small piece for 10 minutes probably, it wouldn't go down.

What do I eat that other people look at and go ewww? Being Chinese, I like chicken / duck feet, but that's pretty normal I suppose in the UK now. Someone here's going to say: 'Chicken feet?? It's hardly crocodile, is it?' Ha, ha!! : )

Good question though.

The strangest things I have eaten were in Australia, since it doesn't seem to be as easy to get that stuff here. I had camel, emu, crocodile, and Vegemite. The first three were good but the Vegemite was gross. Definitely an acquired taste.

My late husband was left on his own a lot when he was little.
There was never much food in the house. He used to eat
jelly & mayonaise sandwiches on toast. I tried it once and it
was actually pretty good.

A snail. I did it because I was in France - but I really can't see the point of eating snails.
