How was his estate settled-? Whoever was his heirs then are entitled to the money in the account if there is any. You should check with your state treasury department. After that much time has elapsed without activity on the account, the money would have gone to the state as unclaimed property (at least here in California.) Some of my mom's money managed to slip past the court settlement process and when to the state. ( I discovered this while checking on line for unclaimed money held by the state.) So I sent a copy of her will and prove of my identity to the state controller (I think-?) alone with prove that all estate taxes had been previously paid and they cut me a check (with interest) for the amount they had on hold. Bottom line if there was anything in the account, you are only entitle to it, if you were in line to inherit something after he died. If several heirs originally split up your uncle's assets, then each would get a corresponding percentage now.

to check the status of your visa..check the expiration date and if you are in the country and you need extension or changes you can apply to where you are now... visa status changes depends on what you are applying and how long.

Are you asking about an immigrant visa or a visitor's visa? For which country?

If it's an immigrant visa for the US, here is the reference: your sponsor or petitioner should call.
