Sometimes I wonder why my life you chose to save
Or why to me a second chance you gave
Knowing fully well that I have done wrong even when I knew the right
Not just before man but also in your sight
But you have shown me just what you can do,
You have taken my old life and turned it into something new
And for this Lord, I’ll always praise you
You have given me a special touch that makes me want to sing so much
You have healed my mind and all I want to do are things that are kind
In my heart I have a great zeal and before your throne I’ll always kneel
Giving you thanksgiving and praise to the end of my earthly days
For you Lord I’ll always stand
Because you have been God and not man
Thank you Lord for your gift of salvation.
