when the energy travels up your spine, does it spin clockwise or counter-clockwise? would that affect which direction you wrap your hair when the turban is on(if you have long hair)?

i never mentioned that i was doing it on my own. but you should practice on your own when you're not in class.

naah, every people may have diffrent dirrection, but if it is altered in the beginning, ussualy it is counterclockwise,
turban is physical, energi doesn't
try to just flow your prana upward, it will spin in natural basis, if you still can't sense it, don't visualized it, it may distrupt your balance, just ask a guru to guide you

First things first, never do Kundalini yoga on your own. The energy travels from the root chakra to the sahasra chakra or the head.
