What does it matter? I used to drink it at parties when I was younger. I did get some attention for being the only girl who would drink it straight though. Even some of the guys had to mix it.

I think that she has very good tastes. There may be some stigma that women aren't supposed to drink a particular kind of drink (for whatever reason), but it is good that she (or you, if you are referring to yourself) has found a drink that she can enjoy and she should be respected for that. Most women may sit around drinking Cosmopolitans when there are many other things out there.
