The other day me and my freind were looking through some stuff in the basement and we found a witch craft board and I asked him if he wanted to call some freinds over and wanted to use it. He got scared and said no,and he ran out of the house in fear. I have'nt seen him sence.Is it demonic or something because im not understanding this.

Yes, highly. Stay away. Burn the board. All magic is black magic. The hardest thing to resist is power, and demons give you some power, but they trap you in a vicious web of lies.

It's not a witchcraft board, it's just a Ouija board. Not only witches use this board, some witches don't even use the board because they fear it. It's very hard to get rid of it, somehow it'll just end up back at your place. Witchcraft is not black or white magic, it all depends on how the person uses it. You use it for good then you're a good witch, you use it for bad (manipulation) then you're a bad witch, but then again a bad witch is not a real witch. Witches don't fly on brooms, they use brooms after a ritual to sweep away the negative energies.

DO NOT BURN THE BOARD!!! I am an Occultist. The Seance board you have is dangerous. It has the ability to call forth spirits, demons, and a large variety of other spirits. Many who use the board for parties or for a silly get together do not practice proper magick conduct during its use. They often do not close the ritual. Nor do they protect themselves.
As far as burning the board, All rituals that our not closed remain in progress. That means the spirits summoned by that board could be floating about. Becuase the ritual is not closed they remain bound to the board. If you burn it you will not only harm this spirit, but should it be a demon, you will release it on this world.

There is no such thing as black or white magic. Sounds more like people are watching the Wizard of Oz as if it's truth. I view things like that just like one would view fire. You could warm your house, cook your food, etc... But in the wrong hands or with bad intentions, a person could burn down a house. BTW, There is no wand that will perform tricks, no crystal ball that will let you see into the future, no scrying mirror that will let you see "unseen things". All of these things only hold what power/image/etc the user gives it. If someone wants to see if they get more money soon, they will see it... and then they will strive harder to obtain it. No magic involved... a lot of suggestion.
A lot of what you hear about witchboards (Ouija Boards) has more to do with the fear of the "unknown" than it does with any actual demonic activity. I don't think the toy companies would sell it at Toy's R Us if there was ANY link to such things. (Don't you think people would be suing over something like that?) Would be one hell of a way to prove demons, wouldn't it? It's just like Tarot Cards. After a while you just get bored with them. They hold the meaning you give it and will hold it for as long as you give it.

There are those who believe that a Ouija Board is a gateway to "the other side", and that it's possible for a "powerful" demon or someone evil to enter this side through the board, if the persons using it are not emotionally or mentally strong enough to keep them away.
There are also those who believe it is nothing more than a silly game.
Talk to your friend in a serious way, and find out what his feelings are. And don't make fun of him, or belittle his opinion.

Witchcraft isn't the same thing as a Witchcraft board ... as a matter of fact, there is no such thing as a "Witchcraft" board. What you're talking about is called a Ouija board.
Ouija boards, because you are dealing with spirits and energies out of your realm of understanding and control, can be dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.
My advice to you is to first read up on it and get a thorough understanding of it before you start messing with it.

The board itself, for just cardboard, is neither good or bad but can be used to open path from a demon to you. Demons are real and definitely bad and if I were you would burn it .Demons are ready and waiting and objects associated with the occult when used by us gives them a tangible connection to us. Your friend is Right by showing such fear for even though we have free will Satan and his fallen angels for that's what the demons are have had ages to perfect their persuasion techniques. Why Satan is called the great liar,the great deceiver. And they work their persuasions bu putting thoughts into our minds, dreams and so forth. But on the other side of the scale are the angels that stayed loyal to God and were told to help,watch out for us and they will attempt to deflect by sending warning thoughts and so forth. Probably because of their warnings, influence you were prompted to ask this question. If there's even a hint of the occult attached to something then run from it.

You're talking about a Ouija board, which is more parlor trick than witchcraft. Working with real witchcraft is as dangerous as working with real electricity, for much the same reason. If you don't know what you're doing (and sometimes even if you do), you can get hurt very badly.

the board itself isn't dangerous .. its a board , no more no less
what is dangerous though is your own mind and those who use it
our fear can manifest into energy that can produce some scary effects
many people would believe this to be demons or bad spirit when it isn't
but all the same it can cause some pretty nasty stuff unless you are sure about what you are doing and trust those who are with you .. which in this case .. best throw it away

The craft is not dangerous.. It is an interesting science like any other, but demands more discipline to learn...
The danger is in the great temptation to use it for selfish purposes, easy gains etc, and the reactions, consequences being irreversible, and ultimately self-destroying...
There are many who do good, by learning it well , and helping victims, to get the effect neutralised...
All this is a matter of personal belief. or experience..

By "witchcraft board" I'm going to guess you mean "Ouija board" (lots of letters and numbers, and a little pointer that you put your hands on)?
It's a tool. And like any tool, it can be misused if you don't know what you're doing. It's not a "toy" and it's not a "game".
Is witchcraft dangerous? It *can* be. It's not something you "dabble" with. It's something you study, something you learn, and something that you realize can come back and bite you in the butt with big gnashing teeth if you aren't careful.
