I like this girl that is best friends with my sister; thats the first problem. It would make things complicated if we ever dated. We both have the same interests and we both can make eachother laugh so much. Sure, we have some differences but we always work them out. Currently, she likes her ex. I dont even know if she likes me.. but you never know. I guess I just don't know what to do. Should I ask her out? Should I just sit back and see if she ever actually likes me like that? What should I do!?

Well, If i were you, i would wait awile...u no...just see what happends, if u like her so much u should just get to know her EVEN better then u already do...i dont think her beinging ur sisters best friend is a problem, u should ask her out.....sumtime down the line....maybe not right away...she might be going threw alot and have a lot on her mind that needs to be straightend out...u never no..things might change when things settle down a bit and this girl gets things on her mind all straightend out...just give it time

Well dont just jump to asking her out without having no idea if she likes you or not and dont just sit back and wait for her to make her move cuz you could be sittin back forever! Why dont you flirt a little. Ask her to do something with her alone, like go to a movie or just to hang out somewhere. Also do something really sweet for her that a boyfriend would do like send her some flowers with a cute card. Then you should tell her how you feel and if she feels the same way then COOL! if she doesn't well Sorry

Actually, even though you may think that this girl being your sister's best friend is a bad thing, it can also be very good. In this situation, I would talk to my sister about it first and see if she knows whether her friend likes you or not. Being friends, they would have talked about that already. If you can get her to go along with the idea, then your sister can be a big help to hooking you up.

Since she is your sister's best friend you should consider your sister's feelings in this decision but not let them overrule your decision. Ask your sister if her best friend ever asked about you, granted this is making it obvious but it is the only way you'll know. Would your sister feel comfortable with you dating her best friend and will it change their friendship if things don't work out with you? If she currently likes her ex then perhaps she is not ready to move forward with a relationship or he is her backup. If you get nowhere asking your sister then talk to her directly, either way you'll know and conscience will be clear. Good luck.

have ur sister casually bring up the topic on what she thinks about u when she's talking to her and if it's good then u can ask her out
