I am getting my braces on as soon as my back molars erupt and to make the process faster my orthodontist gave my biters to chew on that will make the teeth come through faster. The problem is I have a very sensitive gag reflex and the teeth are far back in my mouth and I was wondering what I could do

try chewing on your finger. This way you can contol the reflex better by adjusting how much of the finger you are putting in your mouth to limit how much of a gag reflex.

You could try to use a teething ring on your back gums that is frozen, like babies use.
