I don't feel bad. If you don't stop the situation it's going to keep rolling along. All illegals need to be treated the same and go through the process of becomming legal. The process needs to start with the closing of the border and not even a beginning on thinking of a guest worker program until everything else is in line. The English language needs to be learned and respected, and if they don't care to learn, they need to go back. Like you say in your statement that they get deported back to filth isn't right, but is right that most (not all) show a grave disrespect to our country AMERICA?

I feel bad for them. They get used a lot. People can hire them and give them less than minimum wage and its no skin off their back.
In order for them to come here they usually have to hire coyotes which can cost them their entire life's savings and they might not even get across. I heard that in California that there was a problem with them getting hit by cars trying to get across the interstate.
I mean, if they have to go through so much to get here you can imagine how bad it must actually be in Mexico. I had a friend that went to Mexico city and the taxi driver would not let her stick her hand out the window because she was wearing a ring and there was a risk that someone would cut off her finger to get.
There is a huge problem with illegal immigrants, but I do not think that so many of them would come here illegally unless there was a really, really problem in Mexico.

I do, I watched 30 days yesterday and I realized that these people are humans who just want a better life. The only problem is , in our country we have rules that must be followed. Mexico or any other country has rules that if we stepped foot there, we would have to follow, so why should it be any different for anyone else. I feel bad, but right is right and wrong is wrong.

To a degree yes. Some did come here searching for a better life.
I think the people that I am the maddest at for the whole illegal problem is the company owners (homebuilders, Walmart) that hire them knowing they are illegal and giving them the job instead of an American.

I feel sorry for them. However there are so many coming now it has become either their children or ours, in the over strained school system. I will always fight for my kids, against anybody.

Tok, would you quit quoting a Greenwich village poetess who won a contest? That was hardly governmental action, and did reflect the times. Now it is interesting history. There are interesting things in the Greek and Roman historical buildings, as well, but no one pretends they relate to today.

Some, because some are kids fleeing with their families and some are in need of help and are not the "immigrant"-most people picture, you know the short malice guy coming over only to cause problems and be a pervert.

i feel sorry for everyone else in the world who can't have the same standard of living that we enjoy in the United States, illegals included.
But that doesn't mean that illegals shouldn't be deported: violation of any law carries with it consequences.
If the law is iniquitious or wrong-headed, then the answer is "change the law" not "aid & abet the illegality."

They have my sympathy. If governments really wanted to fix the immigration problems all they would have to do is get together and sign into law the right to freedom of movement and ownership throughout the western hemisphere for all of us. Presto! No more illegals. If you wanted to buy a summer house in Rio, no problem. If you wanted to open a taco stand in Quebec, no problem. And so on. True freedom. No stigmas attached to those who go from one place to another. However, we would have to strengthen our immigration laws to exclude arab muslims. They are a plague on mankind. But the rest of us, we're cool. You can marry my daughter if I can marry your mama.

Nope! It's their parents fault, for sneaking into the country to begin with. Why didn't their illegal parents think of that, before they sneaked over here! If their kids suffer, they have only themselves to blame! What "isn't right", is for their parents to sneak into the country illegally! My ancestors came here legally, and so could theirs!
