Ok.....so why do the guys always go after the popular.... pretty..... blonde..... skinny..... girls???? I cant get a guy to notice me because they are all after those girls that i have no desire to be like!!! I dont care what people think of me, im pretty enough, im not blonde, im not fat or skinny, i have a kind of dark side....and most guys dont really like that....but y? I dont understand....please help!

Au contraire. You sound very interesting. I think you are more likely to attract the kind of guy you would really like, too. Trust me, that most of the guys that are going after the gorgeous, skinny blondes are either vapid themselves or else will get over their "Pamela Anderson" fantasies and come back to reality some day. Why do you like the guys you do? Because they were socially constructed to. You probably think many of the popular, pretty, muscular or what not boys are great too, but only because you've grown up being told that "this" specific image of beauty is what is to be desired. Why are blondes more attractive or why are big noses unappealing? We have all been shown this image of beauty, whether it be through the media, from our friends, family, etc.
But besides all that mumbo, everyone likes someone who other people like. You know its a bad sign when your family/friends hate your boyfriend. But not all those pretty popular girls have personality. That's what it comes down to. After the boys are done with looking at them and doing whatever, they're going to want to talk to someone. Relationships only last when communicatoin is strong. But you're not the only one with a dark side, find someone to relate to.
People in general are also attracted to confidence, and thats why those girls get boys, they are confident that they are the bomb... so be confident and be yourself.

Every guy is different. I don't like the popular girls that are blonde and skinny so I can't give you an explanation to this. But I will suggest that if you talk to a guy and he seems interested, don't hesitate to ask him out or to do something. A lil dark side isn't a bad thing either. Sorry if I wan't any help. Maybe you are hanging out in the wrong places?

Power to the brunettes!!!! Wait for guys to grow up a bit, they'll get it together. I think the whole blonde, skinny thing is just a status symbol. Eventually, most men learn that there's more to a girlfriend than just status. You'll find someone. Good luck!

are you sure that you're going after the right guys? maybe there are some average guys that you don't notice that like you. i know plenty of guys and they all have different tastes. i think you should look around at guys you normally wouldn't notice and give them a chance. maybe the blonde chasers will get jealous and notice you, because people always want what they don't think they can get

Perhaps I do a disservice to the pretty, skinny, blonds, but I never went after them myself. I always thought they were shallow, self-centered, and vain. I always preferred the regular, down-to-earth girls. Have you ever thought that maybe you're going after the wrong guys?

the one thing you need to know about guys is that we are jerks.that being said,what do you mean dark side.are you a women of mystery,that is hiding the fact that you kill your lovers.cause yeah your right we hate that.all shallow guys go for the cute chicks first.it's kinda like the food chain thing.and you just happen to be down hill of the cute chicks.keep looking there is a soulmate for each of us.some are just harder to find than others.good luck with what you seek,and have fun in the seeking.

I don't know. I have all these guy-friends who always say they want girls between like 105-125 with long blonde hair. It's not like I like any of my guy-friends but I don't like that they only like skinny bimbos
