Yes- choclate has caffiene in it which is harmful to a dogs health. If your dog has a tiny amount (like a hershey kiss) it will probably be ok but will give them a tummy ache. MY dog got ahold of 1/2 of a TAKE 5 once and she was throwing up all night. They say it depends on the size of your dog how much they can tolerate but to be safe give them NONE, they make chocolate flovored dog treats (made with carob) that is acceptable.

I wouldnt make it part of any regular diet. But dont sweat it if they eat a large amount. My aussie ate a whole bag of Hershey Kisses. He was very excitable but he turned out fine. Found a lot of foil in the backyard for awhile though.

No, chocolate is actually 98% perfect for dogs unless it is baking chocolate or mixing chocolate. My vet even said so and my dog once ate 4 pounds of chocolate and didn't get one bit sick.

Chocolate can be fatal to some dogs but not all, i once had a dog who had to have a choclate chip cookie every morning and when he didn't he was sick all day!!

Semi-sweet baking chocolate is toxic to dogs. Other chocolates are not good for your dog either, but they pose less immediate danger if ingested. See your vet immediately if you suspect your dog ate chocolate.

Yes, it is poisonous to dogs.
However, I've accidentally fed my dog chocolate, but nothing happened. But you don't want to risk that chance!

Yes, it is poisonous, however a small amount of milk chocolate won't endanger them, under NO circumstances give them dark!
