In the New Testament Christ talks about this in Romans 6:7
For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin.
Romans 6:8
And since we died with Christ, we know we will also share his new life.
Romans 6:10
He died once to defeat sin, and now he lives for the glory of God.

Ac 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his OWN BLOOD.
Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his OWN BLOOD he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Heb 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his OWN BLOOD, suffered without the gate.
Re 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his OWN BLOOD,

Mat 26:28 for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many unto remission of sins.
Mat 20:18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be delivered unto the chief priests and scribes; and they shall condemn him to death,
Mat 20:19 and shall deliver him unto the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify: and the third day he shall be raised up.
Joh 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up;
Joh 3:15 that whosoever believeth may in him have eternal life.
Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Joh 3:17 For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him.
Joh 12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto myself.
Joh 12:33 But this he said, signifying by what manner of death he should die.

Do you really this answer Girl to build up faith?
With everything he went through.
And with accuracy, recorded for us.
Maybe so.
After all he kept telling his apostles the time was near for him to die, and they didn't believe him.
They even told Jesus he didn't have to go through with it.

Isaiah 53:3-7, “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth; he was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so he did not open his mouth.”
hope that helps. Jesus loves you!
